Dying Matters Awareness Week & Debbie Peatman's last mission

At Debbie Peatman's funeral we learned that she had devoted her final year to the last mission Jesus gave her; to teach people that dying is OK. Death must come to us all whether we acknowledge it or not. She also thought about dying well.

Mike Peatman in his eulogy quoted Debbie's answer about final visits or messages;
 "No unfinished business. Tell them I love them all."

Mike also recorded what a blessing those words were to him and many others in his latest post about bereavement on Mike's Blog .

Debbie's blog about living with cancer is also a great read with links to many excellent resources and writers.

Her Blog has been finished with her final challenge to Jono, her son, to record
Debbie's Song, Patient Grace. This page has the words, how to donate to her 2 charities;
St John's Hospice and Messy Church and a link to this Just Giving page where you can download Jono's recording of Patient Grace.

Jono's solo at his mother's funeral was beautiful. Read Debbie's lyrics, donate, download it,
and play it to your church, your family and friends !
